June 9, 2008: GIIP announces Post Graduate Certificate Courses (Legal & Technical Tracks) on International Patents and IP services (evening classes). The admission process has commenced for the batch starting in July '08.

April 16, 2008: First time in India, GIIP in collaboration with University of Washington, CASRIP, USA offers Dual Certification Program on International Patents and IP services at Gurgaon, Delhi, Bombay, Bangalore and Chennai centres. The admission process has commenced for the batch starting on 02 June 2008.

March 5, 2008: GIIP signed memorandum of understanding (MOU) with William Mitchell College of Law (WMCL), USA (http://www.wmitchell.edu/). The areas of cooperation will include Joint research/educational projects, Certificate courses and Seminars in field of International Patents and Intellectual Property services.

January 4, 2008: GIIP signed an exclusive memorandum of understanding (MOU) with University of Washington School of Law (UWSL), Seattle, USA and Centre for Advanced Study and Research on Intellectual Property (CASRIP) (http://www.law.washington.edu/Casrip/). GIIP in collaboration with CASRIP (UWSL) to provide advance level training program in the field of International Patents and Intellectual Property services..

January 4, 2008: GIIP signed partnership agreement with Software Technology Group (STG) (http://www.stgglobal.com/) for launch of its training programs in major metros of India. In phase I, the program will be available at four locations – Delhi, Bombay, Bangalore and Chennai.

January 1, 2008:Education Loans available from HDFC Bank for participants of GIIP’s programs.

January 1, 2008: Industry sponsored scholarships available to meritorious and deserving course participants of GIIP’s programs.
