About the Course: This training program builds the knowledge base required
to master the details of Indian Patent law. It covers all the principal
topics relating to Indian Patent Act, Patent Rules and procedures and gives
hands on experience regarding Filing Procedures, Fee structures, drafting
claims and specifications for Patent Applications to be filed in India.
The last two days of the program will be dedicated to solving and discussing
the Patent Agent Examination papers of the previous years. The candidates
will be provided tips to clear the written and viva voice examination
conducted by the Indian Patent Office.
Faculty: Includes professionals from Patent Office, Patent Agents, Patent
Examiners and Practitioners.
Pedagogy: Lectures, Hands-on exercises, Case Studies and Group Discussions.
Most importantly, dedicated sessions on previous year’s papers would be
carried out.
Eligibility: Graduates, post graduates with science, engineering, technical
degrees and / or diplomas. Participants should possess good communication
and writing skills, should be capable of understanding the technical
concepts and processes.
