About the Course: This is a foundation course that mainly covers: Trademarks, Copyrights, Trade Secrets, Patents and other forms of Intellectual Property. It introduces each subject, explores similarities and differences in different forms of IP protection. Includes statutes, prior art searches, filing procedures, litigation, valuation and relevant case studies.
Faculty: Includes members from premium academic institutions, experts from reputed organizations, Patent Agents and IP Attorneys.
Pedagogy: Lectures, Hands-on exercises, Case Studies and Group Discussions. (practical, hands-on experience will be provided in some areas)
Career Opportunities: Corporate Sector, Legal/Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) companies, MNCs, Law-firms, R & D organizations
Eligibility: Graduates, Post Graduates with Science, Engineering, Legal, Management degrees and / or diplomas are eligible.
